Ursula Ferrigno came in today to give a demonstration class and the thing that grabbed me first about her was her unbelievably positive and enthusiastic attitude. Like a breath of fresh air. She is self-taught and has her own ways of making bread and pasta. That was really interesting and inspiring.
She made gnocchi which a great walnut sauce. Her pasta was great too - half "00" flour, half semolina. Something I have to try soon myself. And a great bread - stromboli - filled with herbs and cheese. So lovely! I will have to check out some of her books.
