Kitchen 26 - Veal steak with Madeira sauce, potato Rösti, turned carrots and tenderstem broccoli

A class - a meal. That was the task basically. Testing your turning skill again - this time with the carrots which I think are probably the most difficult one of the three I have done so far (courgettes, potatoes and carrots).

The rösti potatoes were unfortunately a bit doomed right from the start because I added too much salt. The salt was supposed to get excess water out of them but I forget that they OBVIOUSLY don't get rinsed again - as that would defeat the whole purposed of getting the water out in the first place. Duh! Oh well, so I knew they would be pretty salty.

But I managed to make a really nice Madeira sauce and to cook the steak well. So after all a quite successful day:
