Apart from some organisational information, this was all about what we are going to learn this term and which outside chefs are coming in and what other activities are planned.
For example, we are going to pay a couple of early morning visits to markets. Butchers are coming in with whole animals and demonstrate cutting them up into the pieces you can buy in the supermarkets or at your butcher. We also have the possibility to do some work experience with food magazines and tv shows.
As apart from learning a great amount of new skills, we will be more creative with food, meaning we just get some ingredients and come up with our own dish combing those.
I am really excited and can't wait.
