Finally we served our pies - it was a bit of suspense involved because I wasn't sure if the aspic managed to get into every corner but it did and it was quite a lovely pie:
I am not a big fan of tofu but the Thai salad was lovely and refreshing.
Finally, we made the pastry for the pecan pies - a total new twist on it with crème fraiche. We will see how it tastes.
